Anthony Hopkins adds a string to his bow and becomes a model for Loewe
Anthony Hopkins, new face of Loewe.
Not even Sir Anthony Hopkins, whose career spans seven decades, could have predicted his latest career move:
modeling for Loewe. The 84-year-old made his mark in the Spanish brand’s pre-fall 2022 campaign centered on craftsmanship,
alongside Josh O’Connor, Jessie Buckley and Kaia Gerber.
Photographed by Juergen Teller and dressed by Benjamin Bruno, Anthony Hopkins poses with the brand’s new Anagram
Studs T tote, adorned with the Loewe logo and a bunch of sink caps. Dressed in a sweater – one classic, the other
more playful as it’s covered in a doughnut print – pants and Flow shoes, the octogenarian looks completely comfortable
in his role as a fashion print.
Comments under Jonathan Anderson’s Instagram post poured in, with users referencing quotes from cinema’s scariest psychopath.
“Oh and Senator, just one more thing… I love your costume,” Alexander Fury wrote, nodding to Hannibal Lecter’s ominous
line in The Silence of the Lambs. “There’s only one Anthony Hopkins,” confided Jonathan Anderson, visibly delighted
with his shot. View more This brand has become the obsession of stars on the red carpet
Zendaya, Jeanne Cadieu, Emma Corrin… They all succumbed to the Loewe madness on the red carpet.

Anthony Hopkins is not the only senior model in the latest campaign. With 80-year-old artist Lynda Benglis wearing
parrot print leggings with the same ease as any professional model https://www.openlearning.com/u/ernstrisager-ra0dyf/blog/CoachBagModelNameCoachBagBingoRules, Juergen Teller’s photos sublimate the house’s multigenerational appeal.
