Ibrahim Kamara appointed Art & Image Director of Off-White

On November 28, 2021; the Fashion Industry learned with great sadness the death of Virgil Abloh; Nike Zoom Rival Fly Drop, head of the men’s collections of Louis Vuitton and founder of the creative label Off-White. This Saturday, April
30, the American brand announced via Instagram the appointment of Ibrahim Kamara, Editor-In-Chief of Dazed to its
artistic direction. Joining a collective of creatives, Ibrahim Kamara will continue the vision initiated by Virgil
Abloh, with whom he had notably collaborated at Louis Vuitton.
Born in Sierra Leone, Ibrahim Kamara grew up in Gambia before moving to London at the age of 11. Educated at the
prestigious Central Saint Martins, he joined i-D magazine in June 2022, where he was promoted a few months later
to Senior Fashion Editor-At-Large: Vans Era . In January 2021, he was named Editor-In-Chief of Dazed magazine. “Virgil will always be with us. With me. He
changed the world and left an indelible mark on everyone who met him and beyond. Generous with his time, his
mind and his creativity, he saw everyone and created with all humans in mind. I am honored to further connect
with Off-White™️ as Art & Image Director and to be part of the team that will tell the continuation of the story
Virgil began to write for all of us,” Ibrahim Kamara said on Instagram. His first projects for Off-White have
