Kate Middleton takes inspiration from Lady Diana again with an 80’s look for Prince George’s first time at Wimbledon
While Prince George is taking his first steps at Wimbledon with his parents, Kate Middleton took the opportunity
to revive Lady Diana’s style once again.
For her appearances at the Royal Box at Wimbledon this year, Kate Middleton relied on a sure thing: her mide summer
wardrobe. During the men’s quarter-final, the All England Tennis Club patron turned to her favorite designer, Alessandra
Rich, in an azure polka dot dress and pumps from the same brand. Then she wore again a lemon-colored Roksanda model
to attend the victory in women’s singles of Elena Rybakina. To protect her from the sun? Sunglasses by Finlay & Co
and a hat by LK Bennett.
Kate Middleton is openly inspired by Lady Diana’s style
During her last outing at Wimbledon for the men’s singles final, Kate Middleton stayed in classic style by wearing
another Alessandra Rich polka dot creation with a Chelsea collar and puffed sleeves. A big fan of Lady Diana’s signature
looks, Kate Middleton keeps wearing the polka dot print in an 80s silhouette: just like her outfits worn to the Duke
of Edinburgh’s memorial service at Westminster Abbey earlier this year and her stint at Royal Ascot in June 2022.

- Like Kate Middleton, Prince George is a tennis fan
Who was sitting next to the Duchess of Cambridge in the Royal Box as Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic faced
off on Centre Court? Her husband Prince William and Prince George, for the latter’s debut at Wimbledon.
While the eight-year-old Prince was calmer than Prince Louis at this year’s Parade of Flags, it’s clear
that Prince George takes after his mother when it comes to enthusiasm in the stands at the famous tournament,
whether it’s cheering, wincing or looking behind his hands during particularly tense moments.
