The tree of life

The tree of life is the red thread in Olesya Trofymenko’s work, giving birth to dresses and other haute couture

pieces where cotton, silk and rope threads come to life like the branches, trunk or roots of a tree. The realization

requires extreme precision, declined in an ochre palette in shades of beige and notes of blue and black. Beyond

the fashion pieces, the tree of life is represented here through the transmission of this know-how so dear to

the house of Dior since the Workshop.

Grand soir dresses

Sublimated with smocks and declined in a vaporous silk, the long Dior dresses, to be worn by day or night,

fit the silhouettes of the models. In a few words, all that Maria Grazia Chiuri does best for Dior: poetic

silhouettes resolutely feminine that let the body express itself.

Between embroidery and patchwork

From the first look – a sublime immaculate dress highlighted with embroidery and lace in a cameo of white – the

tone was set; Blue Suede Jordan 5s . For the Dior haute couture fall-winter 2022-2023 collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri celebrates the folkloric

imagination by playing the mix and match of patchworks, between lace and guipures, (which we also find

on coats, in soft declinations), and embroidery. A beautiful way to celebrate the know-how, between tradition and modernity.
