Gucci opens its first NFT art exhibition “The Next 100 Years of Gucci

Gucci continues its evolution into the metaverse with a first-of-its-kind exhibition of NFT artworks “The

Next 100 Years of Gucci.” 

Gucci joins forces with SuperRare, the pioneering marketplace for digital art on Ethereum to continue

its exploration of the metaverse. The house inaugurates in its experimental online space the Vault Art

Space, its first exhibition “The Next 100 Years of Gucci,” a collection of NFT artworks. 


A cryptoart exhibition 

29 handpicked artists were selected to transcribe the house’s legacy through these digital creations. Each one being

a fragment, the codes of Gucci’s past and present are reinterpreted to guess its future. From cryptoart natives

to more traditional designers, from former collaborators to emerging talents, “The next 100 years of Gucci” brings

together the artists, Alanna Vanacore, Alex Trochut, Alexis Christodoulou, Aliendope, ALIENQUEEN, Aliina Kauranne,

anchenillustration, Antoni Tudisco, Dārta Katrīna, diberkato, Drew Young, eBoy, Ignasi Monreal, Ignorance1, Jordan

Schiffer, Kris Andrew Small, loudsqueak, Merijn Hos & Jurriaan Hos, Paulina Almira, Pet Liger, Pindar Van Arman,

SamJ, Sasha Katz, Sheidlina, Tim Maxwell, trs. mnz, Tyler Spangler, VEXX, and YEAHYEAHCHLOE to experiment with digital

art forms. Reflecting Alessandro Michele’s vision and Vault’s commitment, the digital gallery supports and encourages

the talents of today and tomorrow. In this world of infinite possibilities, Gucci is pushing the boundaries of its

narrative to include all points of view.


The NFT art collection will be presented and auctioned on the Vault


in three phases, the first from June 23 to July 1, 2022, the second from July 7 to 15 and the third from July

21 to 29.  In conjunction with its launch, “The Next 100 Years of Gucci” in Vault Art Space, Gucci and SuperRare

will host three Twitter Spaces conversations in which artist, philosopher, curator and writer Rowynn Dumont will

engage with participating artists in the cryptoart collection. These conversations will also be available via the

Gucci Podcast starting June 23rd on all major podcasting platforms.
