The Oscar for risk-taking on the red carpet goes to Kristen Stewart and her Chanel mini-shorts

Kristen Stewart wore an ultra-short suit at the 2022 Oscars ceremony.

The crowning of the punk princess of the red carpet, her highness Kristen Stewart, took place last night

at the Oscars 2022 ceremony. Vying for the Oscar for Best Actress, the actress wore a black satin Chanel

short-suit a world away from the usual tulle dresses seen on the red carpet of Hollywood’s biggest night.

A perfect osmosis

We don’t see a muse who embodies the vision of current Chanel artistic director Virginie Viard as well.

According to Tara Swennen, the meeting of the minds of the two women is more of a collaboration than a

classic designer-model relationship. “They share a love of music and art, a certain audacity in their elegance

and a real flair for fashion,” notes Tara Swennen, who also believes that their work together is fueled

by the same desire to push the boundaries. One thing is for sure: no one knows how to wear the Chanel suit

jacket like Kristen Stewart. Zoom in on the Chanel Fine Jewlery necklace in 18k white gold with onyx, spinel and diamonds.

Casual chic

That’s not to say she hasn’t been tempted to drop the jacket on occasion, either. During the press tour for Spencer,

the Princess Diana biopic for which Kristen Stewart was nominated, she tried wearing Dolce&Gabbana, ruby red Galvan

sequins and even Maticevski.

Yep, in the world of Tara Swennen and Kristen Stewart, you can wear Levi’s while doing your promotional tour.
