Louis Vuitton goes to Japan: the 2022 cruise show will take place in the land of the Rising Sun at the Miho Museum

After Monaco, Palm Springs and more recently Rio de Janeiro, Louis Vuitton will fly to Japan on May 14 to present

its 2022 cruise collection at the Miho Museum.

In May 2022, Nicolas Ghesquière merged fashion and architecture by walking the runway at the Niteroi Museum of

Contemporary Art in Rio de Janeiro: http://uganobic1973.unblog.fr/2022/06/05/coach-city-horse-and-carriage-zip-tote-bag-coach-horse-carriage-bags/, for the Louis Vuitton 2022 cruise collection that drew its inspiration from Brazilian art. For its next 2022 cruise

collection, the French fashion house will set foot in Japan on May 14 https://cheaperonflightclub.wordpress.com/2022/05/29/ck-air-jordan-mars-270-low-black-grey-red-man/, 2022, and show at the Miho Museum, inaugurated in 1997 in Shiga, north of Kyoto, by Leoh Ming Pei,

the architect who designed the Louvre and its pyramids in Paris. Faithful to the discovery of unique

places and architectural works, the house imagined the show in an exclusive setting: this museum hidden

in the middle of a lush forest, revealed by a metal tunnel and a futuristic suspension bridge, like a

true earthly paradise. “This place immediately inspired me. After the desert and Palm Springs, the sea

and Rio, I wanted to show another landscape: an immersion in an ocean of greenery. With the Miho Museum

designed by Ieoh Ming Pei, we continue the architectural journey that is unique to the Maison Louis Vuitton. We are transporting ourselves into a relationship

between nature, geography and the vision of a great architect, for the Cruise 2022 fashion show,” said Nicolas Ghesquière. Since the end of the 19th century, the label has had a close relationship with

the land of the Rising Sun and its culture, as evidenced by some of the Japanese-inspired motifs in the monogram,

or the many Japanese artists who have collaborated with the house such as Takashi Murakami, Yayoi Kusama, Rei

Kawabuko and Hiroshi Fujiwara. See you on May 14.
