Teatum Jones, winner of the Woolmark Prize 2022

London-based design duo Teatum Jones has won the 2022 edition of the Woolmark Prize, the Australian wool

emperor. The prize is 100 000 Australian dollars to promote their work.

The duo Teatum Jones is the winner of the 2022 International Woolmark Prize in the women’s category.

The work of the lace wool, the double-sided embossed wool and the original use of colors… Catherine

Teatum and Rob Jones won over the Woolmark jury with their work inspired by “Wool Utopia”. In 1892, Sister

Agnes Morragh Bernard founded FoxFord Woolen Mills to weave rich wool blankets. In 2022, the Teatum Jones

duo visited this site in Ireland to create exclusive pieces. They modernize these woolen works with geometric

shapes and hand embroidery on skirts and jackets. The London-based duo is being offered A$100,000 to

develop their brand, supported by a mentor in the Australian wool industry. The capsule collection created

for the competition will also be distributed in many department stores around the world: coffeebyschiller, such as David Jones, Harvey Nichols or MyTheresa.com.
