Whimsical designer par excellence, Jeremy Scott had fun reinterpreting in trompe-l’oeil the famous radio cassette

of the 80s. A crazy wink to pop culture right in the news since the music festival takes place Sunday.

Moschino is first and foremost an offbeat universe. Since the creation in 1983 by Franco Moschino, the Italian

house is a UFO of fashion. The designer was inspired by surrealism and Pop Art to create clothes that ironically

play with the traditional codes of couture by details diverted from their primary function. A state of mind

that Jeremy Scott, artistic director of the house since October 2022, plays to the fullest, multiplying humorous

references, from McDonald’s to Barbie through Sponge Bob. The accessories also juggle with symbols, like this

boombox bag from the spring-summer 2022 collection, which takes the shape of a radio cassette, a flagship

object of the 80s. The bag of the weekend, of course, echoing the music festival of June 21. Leather boombox bag, Moschino, 2336 euros
