The Lavarama sneaker by Pierre Hardy

The Lavarama sneaker by Pierre Hardy

The Parisian shoe maker launches for summer 2022 a pair of sneakers with graphic lines, available in limited edition now in stores.

After reissuing the original model of its Colorama sneaker last December, Pierre Hardy is offering a revisited version

of the famous high-top shoe for next season with the Lavarama model. Unisex, with laces and velcro, this sneaker is

composed of an interlacing of white leather cuts, black and white stripes and satin silver for a result mixing surrealist and postmodern inspirations.

A pair of sneakers that is reminiscent of the one designed last October for the 10th anniversary of the Pierre

Hardy boutique in the Palais Royal. Striped in black and white, this sneaker paid homage to the famous columns

of the artist Daniel Buren and the fountain of Paul Bury, both exhibited in the monumental complex of the

Palais Royal. Drawing his inspiration from many artistic currents, such as the graffiti scene or photography,

Pierre Hardy does not hesitate to regularly reinvent the pair of sneakers that made him famous. Creative

director of the men’s and women’s shoe collections for Hermès since 1990, the Parisian shoe designer has

also been creating shoes with sculptural volumes and an assertive graphic style for his own eponymous house

since 1999.
