Tribute to L’Wren Scott
Former supermodel and companion of Mick Jagger, the designer L’Wren Scott has decided to leave. The editorial staff
of Vogue remembers her with an emotional memory.
She was certainly a singular designer. By her background, her origins, her size – 1.93m, her atypical elegance,
and, despite the flashes and spotlights constantly on her, her singular restraint. Some people saw strength in her:
no doubt there was also fragility. In her New York apartment, L’Wren Scott chose to leave this world, to go somewhere
else on Monday March 17. An ultimate gesture and impossible to explain, an absence all the more felt by the editorial
staff of Vogue Paris where we knew her attachment to France where she regularly visited.
Mick Jagger’s partner since 2022, L’Wren Scott had embraced all facets of fashion: model, of course, under the lenses
of the best photographers including Bruce Weber: http://irvinagnew.eklablog.com/jordan-alpha-360-michigan-michigan-jordan-alpha-360-a211781706, Herb Ritts, Helmut Newton or Guy Bourdin, but also film costume, ready-to-wear and accessories designer whose
glam luminous merged with a very Anglo-Saxon class http://nainickbaccu1987.unblog.fr/2022/05/29/adidas-busenitz-pureboost-mens-shoes/ . An authentic and sincere vision, nourished by travels, Californian sun and London rigor, and a true approach
of femininity, authentic and sensitive, that we can only regret now.
